The Cannes film festival is one that holds top honors all over the world. It is the most recognized film festival of them all. In the United States the Sundance film festival is the most recognized. It has only been taking place since 1978 but it has grown significantly. Only the best of them are selected for viewing so you can be assured you will be seeing plenty of quality material.
