It is sturdy enough that the graffiti will not affect the color or quality of the paint underneath. The goal is to remove the graffiti as quickly as possible to give a message that it will not be tolerated. Cleaning up graffiti is very time consuming and difficult. While the anti-graffiti paint is expensive, it is definitely worth it if you live in a high risk area.
The eighteenth Annual Great Graffiti Paint Out and Community Clean Up Day in California took place in May of 2006. Over six hundred residents participated. Such clean ups are beginning to emerge throughout the United States. Community members pull together to remove graffiti that has accumulated in their area. It is a great type of project for parents and children to work on together.
