Independent Film Festival

An independent film festival is a great place to experience a variety of different films that you wouldn’t be able to see released on the big screen in your local theatre. These are low budget films that are released by independent film companies. However low budget doesn’t have to mean low quality as some people have the misconception of. In many cases the production company is a subsidiary of larger ones so they do have talented people working behind the senses as well as sharing their talents on the screen.

Weaving Loom

Weaving is a tradition that goes back to the very early Anasazi and Egyptians. They created amazing works of art by methodically intertwining the materials. With a weaving loom the process became faster. The ability to create larger items was also possible. There are three basic types of weaving looms you can choose from.

Boston Fine Arts Museum

The Museum of Fine Art in Boston, Massachusetts, opened in 1876. It held 5,600 pieces of art. The vision is to provide outstanding examples of world art in a setting that is inviting to everyone. The Museum was build with the goals of increasing the knowledge and appreciation of art, preserving objects of artistic interest, protecting works of art, providing facilities for research, offering instruction and opportunities for the enjoyment of art.

Original Music Composition

Creating an original music composition is harder than many people might think. When we hear a song we are listening to three of four minutes usually of the end result. This takes place after hours, days, and even months of carefully composing the music into the format we so easily take for granted. Original music composition involves creating unique material that isn’t copied from someone else.

Ghetto Gospel

It is no secret than many black people have grown up in the ghetto slums of the world. Statistically the poverty level in that demographic area still continues. No matter how little these people have they continue to have their Faith to share with each other. Ghetto gospel combines the aspects of life on the streets, growing up poor, and Faith all in one. Ghetto gospel can serve as an inspiration for those who have been able to rise about this fate.

James Bond Cars

One of the main attractions in the various James Bond movies are the various cars The first James Bond car was the 1933 Bentley Convertible but it only appeared in the movies rather than on the big screen. The only mention of this car in any James Bond movie is Casino Royale. The vehicle is a car that Bond is working on fixing up. Two more Bentley’s are mentioned in other novels ñ a Bentley Mark VI and a Mark II Continental.

London Film Festival

The London film festival has been taking place for the past 50 years, offering plenty of films to show critics and fans. This gives them the chance to see a variety of film that would normally not be available to them. This film festival takes place from mid October until early November each year.
