The cabbage soup diet is a fad diet. It requires eating the soup for several days. The soup is very low in calories. The diet claims you can easily lose ten pounds in one week if you follow the diet plan. However, researchers have caution that it is impossible to lose that much fat in one week. The dieter may feel lighter, but the reality is that most of what is lost is simply water. While the diet is healthy, it contains a high amount of sodium and very little protein. The origin of the cabbage soup diet is unknown. A myth often circulates that it was incorporated by the Mayo Clinic to ensure rapid weight loss in a healthy manner. The Mayo Clinic claims they have never encouraged patients to engage in the cabbage soup diet.

Bowling For Soup

Bowling For Soup is the unique name of a band formed in Wichita Falls, Texas. The band formed in 1994. It has taken some time for them to rise to the top of the pop scene. They were nominated for a Grammy for best pop performance by a group or duo in 2003. While they didn’t win the award, it definitely gave their music additional exposure and radio play time.
