Types Of Associate Degree

An Associate Degree is a type of academic degree that is awarded by a bachelor’s degree-granting institution, junior colleges and community colleges as well. Typically, an associate degree is equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor’s degree program. Associates degrees are awarded in the United States and, more rarely, Canada, though this type of degree is also being added to the academic degree systems of other countries.

Bachelor Degrees Around the World

A bachelor’s degree is typically an academic degree awarded to undergraduates for a major or course that usually lasts for three or four years. In some countries and particular cases, a bachelor degree program may last up to five or six years. Some types of postgraduate degrees are also called bachelor’s degrees, like the Bachelor of Civil Law that is granted by Oxford University

There is a distinction between honors degrees and pass degrees under the English system of academic degrees. English systems of academic degrees influence many countries’ systems, including the Irish, Canadian, Maltese, Indian, Hong Kong and Singaporean academic systems.

Finding The Right Place To Earn Engineering Degree

I want to earn an engineering degree. The schools I’ve been looking into are all in the Northwest United States. I am interested in the cities where all of the schools are located because I hope to become active in my community. I want to experience a new place and new things while I am in school. I’m looking for a school with an active student body, a Unitarian Universalist church nearby and plenty of political activists in the area to keep things interesting.
