The sequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 was released on the Xbox in 2004 to much excitement from fans of the original game. Everyone who’s taken any instruction in history while in high school knows the details of the Cuban missile crisis, when the United States and the USSR came to a disagreement over the USSR attempting to build a missile base on the island of Cuba. Microsoft’s Halo series is one that has become a favorite with many gamers, combining the action of a first person shooter with a dynamic story about alien invasion.
