Halo Trial Is Not About A Heavenly Courtroom

Chances are, when you read the name Halo (with a capital H), you thought of the video game series. The original, simply called Halo, is one of the blessed few video game names recognized by non geeks. For those not sure of plunking their money down for any of the Halo video games, there is now the option of downloading a Halo Trial.

But Isn’t Downloading Games Off The Web Dangerous?

It is dangerous to download pirated or unlicensed video games (or any other kind of computer file) off of the internet. The good news is now there are licensed software programs on the net, including Halo Trial. Many legitimate software companies offer free downloads just as a candy store might give out free samples. They are hoping that just a sweet taste will encourage you to shop at their company more often than another’s. If your computer is over five years old, be sure to have its security software updated, or it may not recognize that Halo Trial is a benign file.

Many legitimate free software downloads such as Halo Trial will include a license agreement (the I Agree To box you claim you’ve read, but usually don’t). It just indicates that this is a free trial offered by Such And Such Company to you.

Will It Work For Windows?

Many of the most popular video games will not work on Windows. You usually need to get a separate video game playing device such as PlayStation, Nintendo or an Xbox. Video game connoisseurs claim that playing video games on a PC is the visual equivalent of listening to music on CDs instead of vinyl. Music on CDs tends to have a hiss or be a bit tinny to many music lovers’ ears, which is why they prefer vinyl. On the same note, video game lovers claim that the graphics are really compromised when you play the PC version of a game.

However, if you’re not a purist or just want to have some fun without having to heavily invest in an entirely new gadget, PC video games such as Halo Trial can be tons of fun. Don’t let a reviewer influence your video game purchases or downloads. You’re smart enough to make the decision yourself. And with Halo Trial, you won’t have to pay anything.

Halo Triall is available through Microsoft, which will tell you all of the system requirements. You need at least Windows 98, second edition in order to play Halo Trial.
