Arthritis
Arthritis is one of those conditions that causes a lot of people a good amount of pain. The basic definition of arthritis is that it is a condition that occurs when the cartilage around a joint and the joints themselves wear down and disintegrate. That is why people say that it is a condition that is caused from wear and tear of the joint area. When the cartilage and the bone where down, it causes pain and inflammation which can vary in terms of how much damage there actually is.
Naturally, if you suffer from arthritis, you will want to treat it. Depending on how bad it is, there are different treatment options. The first and most logical thing to do would be to try your best to rebuild the damaged cartilage or bone through diet and supplements. Some people take Glucosamine, chondroiton, and/or MSM to help with this. You can also take things such as essential fatty acids to help with the inflammation. There are other joint supplements you can take as well. You can also prepare stock made from the bones of animals. A lot of people believe that this will help rebuild the damage. There is something to that because there is gelatin and even things like glocosamine present in the stock. However, you should do your own research to find out what makes sense for you and definitely make sure you consult a doctor before you try anything.
Another logical thing to do would be to take painkillers. It takes some time to rebuild the damage. In the meantime, you will want something to help take away the pain and bring down the inflammation. Talk with your doctor to find the options that are best for you. Another thing to remember is that you can always do things like take warm baths with Epsom salt added in to help with the inflammation and also apply topical creams and ointments that you can get from the drugstore to help with the pain. Of course, if the situation looks really bad, or if the joint is so damaged that it is almost impossible to repair it, you may consider getting surgery. You can even get knee or hip replacement surgeries which will help a lot with the pain.
