This limited air flow results in a person’s inability to breathe. In addition, mucus is triggered constricting air passages even more fully.

A bronchial asthma attack is the body’s way of responding to something that it is allergic too. This extreme reaction can be very dangerous to a patient and proper diagnoses are needed to assure that the patient is on medication that can assist in their controlling the disease.
Treatment of Bronchial Asthma
Patients can often hear themselves wheezing when this difficulty breathing occurs. This is one of the symptoms of bronchial asthma, but not all patients can hear this. If a person has tightness in their chest, hears wheezing or is having difficulty catching their breathe it is time to see a physician.
A physician will do a physical, including listening to a patients lungs and further evaluation of the lungs capacity for air flow. These tests will give the physician a clear idea of how the lungs are working. If bronchial asthma is diagnosed, a regiment of daily medications will probably be prescribed.
These medications will help with the inflammation in the lungs, by keeping the lungs from becoming swollen. There are also medications that can immediately help alleviate the inflammation in the lungs in case of a sudden asthma attack.
Patients need to be aware of what medications they are taking, and be responsible to take them everyday. Asthma is a chronic condition and needs to be monitored on a daily basis.
