Most of us know what color blindness is: it means the individual can’t distinguish between various colors. In the more severe cases the individual isn’t able to distinguish any colors at all from each other. The most common cause of color blindness is due to genetic factors. This means the individual is born with the deficiency and doesn’t know any different.

Color blindness is a deficiency that prevents the individual from being able to distinguish colors from one another. Since it is generally a genetic factor very small children are often struggling to deal with it. The fact that they are color blind may go undetected until they start preschool or kindergarten. Individuals who suffer from color blindness may have 20/20 vision when it comes to their ability to see it is only the colors that they can identify that is affected.
