Have you ever wondered how much money goes in and out of a bank on a given day? Those armored trucks that pull up certainly seem to be bringing a substantial amount of money. To protect the delivery of these funds as well as the daily operations of a bank, security guards are generally on duty during all bank hours. This is to help prevent theft from occurring. Bank robberies still are attempted all the time, and many bank security guards have been injured or killed trying to prevent them from happening. This line of work is certainly one that comes with some risk.

Office security may be something that many employers don’t think is necessary, but in our society it is becoming more of a necessity than an option. In light of recent killings that have taken place due to disgruntled employees returning to the workplace, jilted lovers taking it out on the other person in pubic, and domestic violence issues that escalate to this level of violence office security is more important than ever.

Police officers put their life on the line every day to provide use with the safety each of us wants. They are in place to serve and protect the public at all costs. This means putting their life on the line to apprehend suspects and to be prepared in any situation for the worst. Many of us wonder why the police officer is so intimidating when we get pulled over for speeding. The truth is that the officer doesn’t know if you will be reaching for your vehicle registration or for a gun in your glove box. With this in mind they aren’t going to take any chances.

Security guards are in place to protect individuals in our society. They have a very dangerous job and often put their own life on the line each day the work to protect others. To help ensure their own safety, security guards go through various types of training. Depending on the level of security the provide they may be trained in how to use weapons, pepper spray, and other severe methods of maintaining safety.
