It is common for commercial solicitors to employ a variety of methods in order to get the attention of potential buyers. For example they may hand out fliers in parking lots or place them on your car. Sometimes they even place them on your door.

Soliciting is the concept of selling. There is plenty of controversy that surrounds something as simple as a sign that reads No Soliciting. You see them in the windows of many businesses as well as in the windows of some homes. One complaint by those who wish to display such signs is that there are no nice signs.

Soliciting is the process of trying to persuade an individual to purchase something. This is different from advertising because it is generally done on an individual basis. Solicitors may go door to door or from business to business trying to encourage people to buy what they are selling. It even takes place in the parking lots of college campuses, retail stores, and various places of employment.

Telephone Soliciting

Getting telephone calls from solicitors can be annoying. Most of us are able to avoid them because we have caller ID. Still many phone solicitors are getting smart enough to set the call up so that it reads unknown number. Most people are willing to answer such calls that come into their home because it could be an emergency or a friend in need.
