The speed dating session lasts a certain amount of time. The time is broken up into intervals. During each interval, a woman sits down to speak with the man. If there is chemistry during those minutes, numbers are exchanged. If not, the women move on after the session is over.
There are several reasons why people would want to participate in speed dating. The first is that it is fun. It is a great way to meet a lot of people at the same time. Having conversations with different people could be very fun. It is a great chance to meet all kinds of different people with different interests and hobbies. If you put them in a situation like this they may be nervous and not know how to act or you simply will not be able to see what they are really like. So, speed dating is good, but there is a downside.
