Androids are robots that are made to resemble humans. While it is quite obvious they are robots they have many characteristics of humans. Most androids have specific types of qualities for you to identify. For example some of them know dance moves and others know how to cook. Androids can be used for entertainment purposes or as part of a scientific experiment where it is too dangerous for actual humans to be used.
Animatronics is a type of robot that work to provide life like abilities for a particular purpose. The animated object doesn’t have artificial intelligence though so it is only able to repeat what it is programmed to do. Many amusement parks and exhibits use animatronics to bring their displays to life.
A Cyborg is a cross between artificial intelligence and a live organism. The concept was introduced in the 1960’s to identify the thoughts about using such vehicles in outer space. A Cyborg features all the basic characteristics of an individual with the added benefits of what technology has to offer. It was thought that Cyborg’s could be taught to do all the movements of human’s and transmit information back to Earth from space.
