Twin Bridges
Twin Bridges, Montana is a small but gorgeous area of Southwestern Montana. The annual income in low, just over $25,000. However, you can buy a 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms and a garage for $75,000. So don’t get the idea that people there are poor. The cost of living is just very low. 97% of the population in Twin Bridges are white. The population is just over 400 people.
Twin Bridges gets it’s name from the 2 bridges, one on each side of the entrance to the town. The area is well known for trout fishing. 3 trout streams come together in that particular area of the world. The fishing is a great tourist attraction. You can sit on the balcony of a few of the hotels there and fish!
In addition to the great fishing, tourists come to the area for a variety of adventures. Hiking and enjoying nature is very popular. NRA rodeo draws a very large crowd each year. Gold panning in the river is always as fun activity for people of all ages. Not too far down the road are some great ghost town to explore. The area is also well known for the variety of rocks. The famous Yellowstone Park is in the area too. Others just want to rent a raft and float down the river for awhile.
Twin Bridges, Montana while small, offers the outdoors type many fun filled opportunities at a very affordable cost. The town prides itself on not over charging tourists for the enjoyment of the area. Hotels, restaurants, and equipment rentals are all very reasonably prices. That’s just one more reason to plan a trip there!
