Ok, mold and mildew don’t exactly come from the same type of fungi but they are often interchangeable in terms of when you are talking about growth and clean up. As much as anyone can ascertain, mold and mildew are more descriptions of their physical appearance rather than two totally different fungal organisms.

To get even more confusing, mold and mildew can often grow together side by side although they do occur frequently in particular mediums. For instance, mold can grow on food, walls and other larger, physical structures. Mildew refers to the fungal growth on plants, clothing that has sat too long in your washing machine and the discolorations around your bathtub and on grout.

Ferns are interesting members of the plant family. They are slightly different than what our traditional notion of plants says they are. But regardless of what they are, a lot of people actually think they are beautiful. There are some fern weeds that tend to pop up where they are not wanted, but in general they don’t tend to grow in the lawn unless the house or building is built on a marsh. There is a demand for ferns, which is why it is important that there is a fern nursery nearby to grow them.

The purpose of a fern nursery is to grow ferns. These ornamental ferns are in demand for use as a garden and landscaping tool. There are ferns that come in all different shapes and sizes and even vary in color. Certain ferns will grow in certain conditions and areas and others won’t. A fern nursery understands what kind of ferns are in demand for that area and supplies their clients with enough to suit their landscaping needs.

Everyone understands how the sun’s energy produces heat, providing thermal energy and now there is a greater understanding of how photovoltaic cells can convert solar energy into electricity. It is the use of solar panels to produce electricity that holds some of the better promises of using the sun’s energy as a renewable energy resource.

All photovoltaic cells, which convert energy from the sun into electricity are housed in what is termed a solar panel and depending on the size of the panel and the number of cells they contain, power can be produced to energize a whole house to several houses connected to the solar power system.

Translating much of the information in plain language was not high the list of priorities and many were left in the dark with the facts about solar energy. What was not known was often speculated and people blamed traditional power companies for keeping the information quiet for fear of losing business to the sun.
