Global Warming Statistics Analyzed For Predictions

There is no lack of numbers, charts and graphs that appear to support the global warming statistics being touted are the world as a preview of things to come. However, as many of the more cautious point out, weather experts and climatologists have such a difficult time predicting the weather on a daily basis, that projecting what the world’s weather patterns may be in 50 or 100 years, is simply guessing.

Cactus Plants

There are a lot of varieties of cactus plants out there. In general, cactus plants are plants that have adapted to survive in very hot and dry climates. This means that in an environment that does not have a lot of water and a lot of rain, these plants seem to thrive. Most of us think that the cactus plants are just one type of variety - the tall ones with the thorns and the arms that seem to reach out like arms on a human being. These are traditionally depicted as being part of the dessert, particularly in Arizona. However, there are a lot of different varieties of cactus plants and those are not the only one.

Global Warming Skeptics Claim Theory Is Unproven

There are numerous people pushing the theory that global warming will soon result in the end of the world as it is known today, and there are just as many global warming skeptics that accuse them of walking around with The End Is Near signs to create a panic while pushing an unproven theory to support their personal agenda. When former Vice President Al Gore took up the cause, global warming skeptics claimed it is to draw attention to his future political agenda.

Kids Astronomy

Astronomy is a very fascinating area of interest, and one many children become interested in during their school years. It is very common for children in the third or fourth grade to complete entire segments on Astronomy including the planets and the stars. However, most academic programs have cut back science programs so your child may not get the chance to learn as much about Astronomy as they would like. Don´t let their desire to learn more about Astronomy to be hindered.

Gender selection is something that has a lot of controversy. Basically it means that you can decide on the gender of your baby before the baby is born. How many times have you heard of a family with five children all of which are girls? When you finally ask them why they have so many children they often say that they were trying for a boy and then after child number five, they gave up. Well, what if you could be guaranteed a certain gender based on gender selection? Most people do not realize this, but we have the technology in place to select the gender of our babies.

Polar Bears And Global Warming Problems

Global warming is happening quickly and the battle rages on for the reasons for it. Whether the cause is natural or man made, there are species of animals that are in danger of becoming extinct if something isn’t done soon. One of the species of animals that are at great risk is the apex predator of the north, the polar bear. Global warming is easiest to see where extreme temperatures are found such as the ice caps of the north and south. The temperatures at these locations are warming pretty quickly. The sea ice that the bears depend on is forming later while they are also melting earlier than normal. This equates to the bears having less time to hunt which means that the population of bears is declining.
