Moon Phases
There are different moon phases that exist which make the moon appear differently depending on which part of the phase it is. Sometimes we see just a little sliver in the sky. Other times we see a bright, full or almost full moon. All of these phases help determine the appearance of the moon and they are created by the way the sunlight hits the moon.
