History of Vacuum Cleaners
Friday, August 10th, 2007It is believed by many that in 1965 the ‘Whirlwind’ became the first hand powered cleaner using basic vacuum principles. Then a powered vacuum machine was developed by H. Cecil Booth in 1901. It is said that Mr. Booth once noticed a device being used to blow debris and dust off of chairs and was inspired to come up with a device that would suck the dust off surfaces instead.
