Color Guard Flags
When it comes to the color guard, flags are an important part of them. The color guard is basically a procession of people whose sole purpose is to carry the flags during official ceremonies. In the Unites States, color guard flags include the United States Flag, the flags of any states or any other countries involved with the ceremony, and the flags of the organizations. Proper use of these flags is very essential to the color guard.
Color guard flags are pretty much the reasons why the color guard exists. If you want to find flags for a color guard ceremony, it helps to understand exactly which flags you need. For example, if you are holding a Girl Scout ceremony of some kind, the color guard will include the United States flag, the state flag, and the official Girl Scout flag, or the insignia of the Girl Scouts on the flag. Some girls would be selected to hold the flags during the ceremony. They make up the official color guard of that ceremony.
During official and military ceremonies, there are additional color guard flags that are included. If it is a military ceremony, or a ceremony that includes several branches of the military service division, those flags would also be included. There is an official flag for the United States Army, United States Air Force, Marines, Navy, and Coast Guard. So if all of those branches are involved in the ceremony, all of those flags would be present.
It is very important that during the ceremonies, all of the color guard flags are lined up properly. They usually fall in order of rank. The United States Flag has the highest rank and then the other flags will be lined up exactly how they need to be from highest rank to lowest rank.
Color guard flags are an important part of any ceremony. If you need to hold an official ceremony of some kind, it is important to get a color guard involved. If it is a really official ceremony, you will need people in uniform and you may also want someone to shoot off a rifle. But even fairly informal ceremonies can have a color guard. Just remember to line the color guard flags up properly.
