One of the best events for Girl Scouts to participate in is the annual Girl Scout sing along. This event has been taking place for the past 95 years and is still going strong. The 2007 Girl Scout sing along will be held at the National Mall in Washington DC on June 9th.
Music is such a very important part of our culture and our lives. Having each Girl Scout troop being able to access the same songs brings the individual troops together as one under the umbrella of the Girl Scouts of America organization.
