Strategic Fundraising For A Not-For-Profit

In any given community there are a number of organizations that are known as not-for-profits. These not-for-profits go through a number of legal hoops to gain a status of being a 501(c) (3). One of the ways that a not-for-profit structure is different from their for-profit counterpart is the governing boards. The governing board of a not-for-profit receives no remuneration, but still provides governance and fiscal oversight to the operation.

Two Tried And Proven Daycare Fundraising Programs

Due to the fact that a high percentage of both parents work outside of the home, the importance of quality daycare for children is essential. Often, that quality day care experience provides learning opportunities, participation in crafts that increases the dexterity skills of the child, recreational opportunities, proper nutritional snacks and meals and occasional outings. Of course, all of this is conducted in a safe environment and through the use of equipment that is safe.

Our Family Christmas Photo

Every year I get excited about the Christmas photo that will come in the mail from each of my kids. There is a tradition in my family that every Christmas, a family picture is taken and mailed out with the annual Christmas family newsletter. When my kids were young, I decided that I wanted to record each Christmas in a concise way.

Often these services are provided to their clients at no charge or are based on a fee in accordance with their level of income. Examples of some of these services provided by charities include the provision of clothing and food to the homeless, delivery of meals to the senior population, youth building programs, energy assistance, hospice care, etc.

Decorating With Poinsettia Christmas Flowers
