Golf Clubs Are Designed For Different Strokes
Golf clubs are the tools of champions and tools for some fun on the links. Golf clubs are used to send a small white ball around a golf course by professional golfers like Tiger Woods who make millions of dollars every year, and by millions who all together pay millions for their golf clubs. Golf clubs have been used for many years, but they have changed dramatically since these were first used. As a matter of fact, golf clubs are improved constantly to help those passionate about the game. Devoted golfers pay high prices for a set of golf clubs although a set can be purchased for reasonable prices as well.
Golf clubs are made in different types although the price for these different types can vary significantly. The first type is the woods which most golfers use to hit shots from the tee on a long fairway. The woods are the golf clubs that will send that small white ball the furthest in the right hands. The woods have a metal shaft like the other clubs, but many of these clubs have a wooden head. Some of the woods now have metal heads, but the shape is much different than those on irons. Many golfers will carry at least three woods in their golf bags although they might have more woods depending on their budgets and preferences.
Golf Clubs Drive, Chip and Putt
On some holes, golfers will use their irons from the tee if the distance from the tee to the green is not far. As they move around the golf course, most golfers will have a set of irons that they can use for accuracy and a variety of distances. Some of the irons will drive the ball further than others, and each golfer will have to choose the appropriate club for each shot. The irons have a shaft that is very similar to the woods, but the head of the golf club is made from a metal.
Golfers will usually have a variety of golf clubs for special situations. Those that end up in the lake will not have a club to save them, but there are great clubs for other difficult situations. The golfers who hit their balls into the rough or a trap will have special clubs that are designed to give them a better shot at making the best of these bad situations. Last but not least for golfers is the putter. This is the club that golfers use to putt that little white ball into the hole. This club is used with special strokes that give the golfer better control at the final stage of each hole.
