Rugby

The game of Rugby has been played since 1823 when a football player named William Webb Ellis made some variations to the game. This sport is very similar to what is known as football. There are fifteen players for each team on the field at a time and the object of the game is to move the ball towards the goal. If you are able to reach the other end of the field your team scores four points. The team with control of the ball has six tries to get the ball to the goal or they have to give it up to the opposing team. The game consists of two forty minute playing periods.
