Is The IPhone Price Just Right or Too Expensive?

Apple just released their latest addition to their roster of technological innovations last June 2007. The Apple iPhone joined the ranks of the iMac and the iPod as one of the most innovative gadgets to be released by Apple. The iphone price range is from US $499 to US $599. The factor that warrants the iphone price difference is the capacity of the phone’s memory. $499 is the iphone price for the 4 gigabyte model while the 8 Gigabyte model is around $599.

Is the iPhone Price Justified?

There are many techies out there who lined up outside stores the night before the iPhone’s release. These guys wanted to be among the first ones to get their hands on an iPhone. Some of the people were caught up in the hype of the advertising campaigns launched by Apple to promote their latest innovation and invested $499 to $599 on a gadget that has cellular phone features integrated into a multi-media gizmo.

The iphone price is not so bad considering that you got a cellular phone that doubles as a multimedia device for the low price of $499. It is the multimedia features that make the iphone price high and compared to other cellular phones. Other cellular phone manufacturers have launched mobile phones that can be loaded with songs and videos to suit the preference of the user. The big difference between other phones and the iPhone is the capacity of the memory. The iphone price is also justifiable considering that you get a gadget capable of being a mobile phone, a multimedia device and an internet capable gadget at the same time.

Other justifications to the iphone price are that it also has a 2 mega pixel camera and can shoot very good digital still photos with it. Although, other mobile phones feature a camera capable of shooting videos with DVD like quality, the iphone’s other features outshine them.

It all boils down to the preference of the user when it comes to justifying the iphone price. Satisfied users of the iPhone are happy that they have shield out a maximum of $599 for this innovative gadget. On the other hand those that are not as satisfied with the iPhone will always say that they paid too much for something that other mobile phones can do better. Those that feel content with their iPhones yet feel that something is lacking will just have to be satisfied with the software updates and other add-ins by Apple.
