Comical iPhone Prices

Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer said during an on-stage interview with USA Today’s David Lieberman: There’s no chance that the iPhone is going to get any significant market share. No chance. It’s a $500 subsidized item. They may make a lot of money. But if you actually take a look at the 1.3 billion phones that get sold, I’d prefer to have our software in 60 percent or 70 percent or 80 percent of them, than I would to have 2 percent or 3 percent, which is what Apple might get. These are strong words from the CEO of Microsoft. He believes that comical iPhone prices will not do very much for their sales. However, with all of this said, there are a few things to keep in mind.

iPhone Availability Tracker

Apple has launched a small web application that will let customers check up on iPhone availability at its 164 national retail stores. The Apple retail availability tracker allows iPhone seekers to select their state of residence and then will display a list of Apple retail stores with iPhone availability indicators. If there is a green dot next to your local Apple store, then iPhones are in stock. A red dot indicates that iPhone availability is negative. This simple system is a great way to see iPhone availability without trouble. It is an incredibly user-friendly system that can be used by almost anyone.

iPhone’s Missing Features

Though the Apple iPhone is a great device with many awesome features, it has many deficiencies that need to be brought up. Things like third party support and carrier choice are just some of these.
