Univeral Studios Theme Parks
Universal Studios Hollywood is the original Univeral Studios theme park. There are also Univeral Studios theme parks in Orlando, Florida and also in Japan.
The Universal Studios theme parks have a lot attractions. Some of them include Fear Factor Live, Van Helsing Fortress Dracula and the Waterworld Stunt Show. They also offer the Nickelodeon Blast zone specifically for kids.
Revenge of the Mummy is an attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. Revenge of the Mummy is an indoor steel rollercoaster. There is a Revenge of the Mummy ride at the Universal Orlando Resort as well. The Universal Studios Hollywood version of the ride features scarab beetles, warrior mummies, and Imhotep in sand form as well.
Back to the Future: The Ride is a simulator ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. Outside the ride, the De Lorean from all three of the movies and Doc’s locomotive from the third movie are all on display. The cars on the ride are held in place in front of a 70-foot IMAX screen. Each car on the ride is mounted on four pistons, allowing them to rise, fall and tilt, following the motion on the screen.
The Blues Brothers attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood is actually a live performance. After John Belushi’s death, updated versions of the Blues Brothers have performed on SNL and for charitable and political causes. The copyright owners have also authorized some copycat acts to perform under the Blues Brothers name; one such act performs regularly at the Universal Studios Florida theme park in Orlando, Florida and also at the Universal Studios Hollywood.
The world-famous Universal Studios Tour lasts about 45 minutes. The tour is led by a tour guide and travels through the Front Lot, Backlot and various attractions. Along the tour are sets and props from many famous movies. The Universal Studios Tour is the signature attraction at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park. It is unique in that it goes into the heart of a busy, working movie studio.
