Some of the good card tricks are truly amazing, and the entire audience usually wonders just how the magician did it. Most magicians will not reveal the secrets of a good card trick because that would ruin the card trick for any future audience. Most good card tricks are done with an ordinary deck of cards, and often the magician will use a deck of cards from someone in the audience. Other good card tricks are accomplished with a special deck of cards that are designed and manufactured especially for mesmerizing card tricks. These decks of cards can be purchased from magic stores, and then almost anyone can do a good card trick with one of the special decks.
Some card tricks are done by magicians who ask a member of the audience to memorize one of the cards shown to the audience. The audience member is instructed to stare at the card and remember exactly which card that they chose. The magician will then be able to tell the audience member and all of the others exactly which card was chosen. There is now at least one website on the internet which does exactly the same card trick. Believe it or not the designer of the website can choose the card that was picked by a viewer. How this card trick works is known to only a few excellent magicians.
Card Tricks Come In Several Categories
These tricks with cards fall into categories according to some of the skills involved. Some of these tricks are designed especially for beginners because they are very easy to perform. The directions are very simple so even a youngster should be able to do some of the easy tricks with cards. Some of these are a little more difficult, but an older child can do the even some of the more sophisticated tricks with cards. These tricks sometimes depend on mathematical principles. Others depend on an audience that thinks they are watching carefully, but they miss certain movements that the magician makes to ensure that they trick the audience.
Most people are not totally observant, and they do miss some of the motions made by a good magician. Some of the tricks that magicians do with cards take a good deal of preparation and chatter while the trick is performed. Often the master magician distracts the audience with one move while making another. The audience intent on one interesting movement completely misses another move on which the trick depends for success.
