Cigarette magic tricks Are Becoming More Popular By The Day
The popularity of cigarette magic tricks is on the rise and you will find many magicians incorporating them in their acts to good effect. There are different variations and magicians usually use whatever type of trick that they are comfortable with. One of the more common cigarette magic tricks is The Cigarette in the Hand in which a cigarette is shoved into the left fist with the lighted end first. Then the magician extinguishes the cigarette by squeezing the left fist with his right hand and upon opening the left fist he is able to show that there has not been any damage done to his hand.
Using A Thimble
The trick to this cigarette magic trick is that in the closed hand there is a thimble that receives the lit cigarette and which gets extinguished as soon as the magician uses his right hand and presses the thimble. And, to make the trick more believable, just when the cigarette is removed or prior to the right hand squeezing the left fist, the right hand palm is held below the left hand so that no sparks can be seen and it also makes it possible for the thimble to be dropped into the right hand. In this manner, when the magician shows his left fist, there is no sign of the thimble and thus the spectators have no clue as to how the trick has been performed.
Another popular cigarette magic trick is called the Cigarette in the Case. This involves an empty cigarette case, which the magician closes and on reopening it, out pop two cigarettes from within the cigarette case. This is such a simple trick that it can fool anybody because all it requires is to cleverly conceal the cigarettes in the case. Every cigarette case will be having cross-bands to hold the cigarettes in the case. The trick is to conceal the cigarettes beneath these cross-bands so that the case appears empty. Then, all that is required is for the magician to extract the hidden cigarettes while ensuring that the case is not clearly visible to the spectators while he is making his clever deception work.
There are of course a number of other cigarette magic tricks that magicians perform including The Smoke Trick, the Anti-Gravity Cigarette, the Nameless Cigarette, and the very popular the Rising Cigarette to name but a few. Suffice to say that they all use subterfuge to deceive the spectators and they are also quite enjoyable from the spectator’s point of view.
