Magic mind tricks To Make People Think You Can Read Their Minds

Magic mind tricks are very popular and they involve having a person supposedly able to read the mind of another, or foretell events that are yet to occur and these types of tricks go down very well with the female population, and it is really not at all necessary to be a psychic to perform these tricks. All that is required in fact is to develop the requisite skills.

The Name Of The Dead

One such magic mind trick goes by the name of The Name of the Dead and it involves handing out three slips of paper and asking three people for some help. Of the three people, two must write the names of living people while the third person must write the name of a dead person on the slips provided to them. Then, the slips are put into a hat without the magician touching them who is then blindfolded and the hat is placed above his head so that he is unable to see into it. The trick involves the magician being able to draw the name of the dead person from the three slips in the hat.

Though it may seem quite impossible to draw the right name each time, the trick is really not all that difficult. The trick really involves having the person write the name on a piece of paper that has two rough edges as opposed to the others that have one smooth and one rough edge. By feeling the edges of the slips of paper you can come out trumps each time and have your audiences believing this to be a magic mind trick.

A second example of a magic mind trick is called Famous Name in which you ask for members of the audience to call the names of about ten people that are very famous and they could either be names of living or dead people. You need to write down these names on a separate card which is then mixed. All you have to do is to predict on a slate what the name drawn will be, and a member of the audience picks out one of these cards and the name that he calls from the slip should match with the name you predicted.

This is one simple magic mind trick that will surely work each time and will have your audiences gasping in disbelief. All that you need to do is to write one name in all of the cards irrespective of which names were called, and predict that this name will be the one that the member will call out when he reads from the cards in the hat. Since all the names are the same your ‘prediction’ is bound to come true each time. Of course, you need to destroy all the names after each prediction without letting the audience view what was written on the slips if you want this simple magic mind trick to succeed each time.
