One of the many string magic tricks that you may have seen is the one performed by David Blaine though many other magicians too have performed various different string magic tricks over the years. Among the many such string magic tricks is the one in which the magician rolls some thread using his fingers to make it into a ball, which is swallowed by the magician and which is then apparently seen coming out from the magician’s stomach.
